World AIDS Day is held on 1 December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day and the first one was held in 1988.
Chuck Panozzo will be our special guest speaker. He is the co-founder of the rock band STYX and also the bass player for the band. He has been HIV positive since 1991 and has been working hard lately to help those with HIV live healthier lives.
There will also be musical selections provided by Alpha Psi Omega/Shenandoah University Students.
